Was thinking about how I'd redesign ken's aged up character + just warmup doodles of ken in general.

tooled around with his hair length too, my friend @brambleberryjam likes imagining him letting his hair grow out a bit longer as his own subconscious way of remembering shinjiro

while I love a good fancast of the characters in the house in the cerulean sea as much as the next guy, I worry about live action adaptations being able to truly capture the warm sense of magic, love, found family, and whimsy of the book.

which is why the only people I would trust with an adaptation of the house in the cerulean sea is studio ghibli

If your still undecided about what modern au Machete would have as a job, I would like to nominate him as a niche fashion model. Not like a popular celebrity, because he's not conventionally attractive, but he has that aura. He can Walk (in heels!!!)

I want to give him an excuse to wear all different kinds of fancy clothes, basically. He deserves to be dressed to the nines and glare down at an audience from the runway.

#modern Machete is into fashion without a doubt #enough to dream about being a designer or a model or anyone in those circles #but I'm not sure he'd have the personality for it #I think you need to be at least passably sociable as a model right?#bold enough to put yourself out there but also humble and cooperative so people will want to work with you #and you have to be adaptable and stress-resistant to deal with long shooting days and travel #you gotta let hair stylists and makeup artists touch you and be somewhat ok with dressing and undressing with other people in the room #I tend to think his day job is something kind of boring and not glamorous at all but he's very good at it and it pays well #and he uses some of those paychecks to buy himself nice things to wear #but it was very sweet of you to think he could be a model he would've loved to hear that #answered #anonymous

#sci talks comics #deadpool #wolverine #sighs. i miss you wade wilson who is sincere and calls group meetings when he's feeling morally conflicted.#wade wilson really reached his peak form in this series. i don't think any other group series has struck this balance with wade #where he's perfectly competent and not an idiot. and can be relied upon without making everything an ego play.#he's still a joker and people are still annoyed with him but he's so easily a fan favourite because he doesn't annoy us (the reader)#and he winds up being the heart of the operation #really good series and honestly . the cinematic adaptation of deadpool that i wish we got. he'd be so much better in small doses.#quality. over quantity. me thinks.

#Thinking about Shadow and Neo rn!!!#Shadows system are like. SUPER outdated. His hardware cant keep up with his software #<- (He overheats a lot which is a cause for more organic body language like blushing and having a reason to breathe)#Neo doesn't understand why he doesn't update his hardware. Neo has a much more efficient processor so she never overheats.#Shadow is afraid to go under such a big change. 1.) Nine PTSD. he gets squeamish about getting unnecessary maintenance.#2.) He prefers to feel organic by slowly updating hardware to mimick aging. 3.) His hardware has Black Arms tech in it!!#His hardware is super adaptive and can't be irreparably damaged because it can heal itself #also he doesn't know if that contributes to his variety of emotions and sentience. so he is NOT gambling that.#Shadow needs to feel like he's organic. Neo doesn't. Neo doesn't understand why he'd choose an old flawed system.#Neo still respects his decision. it actually makes her more curious because be can have such physical responses to stimuli.#ALSO HEHEHE #they bond over having free will stripped from them!#scariest experience of Shadows existence is basically how Neo felt for YEARS. I've been due for some wings brainrot for a while now, hoping this one sticks around for a while afhsfjsf the tails got more than their fair share of my attention i Need to be spinning the concept of wings around in my brain at all times for the next three months At Least--

Idk how unpopular this opinion is but instead of the Iliad or anything around that I would love for Jorge's next musical to be an adaptation of Eros and Psyche.

First of all, that myth is HIGHLY underrated and not nearly adapted enough. Second of all, there would be another protagonist on a quest she doesn't even really want to go on, motivated by the desire to reunite with her beloved... Do you see my vision?

Bruce stared at him blankly. He didn’t have the mental capacity to work out where Din was going with this, not when it was taking a significant amount of self control not to collapse right there on the pavement.

Din shifted a little. “That would make Tho’buir eleven years old.”

Bruce’s jaw dropped, thoughts of his missing children silenced as he processed that statement. He turned to the boy again, tracing his features for a different reason, now. He could see it. He could see how those small features could grow into his buir’s face. And that meant-

Bruce dragged his gaze from the boy to the Mando’ad still standing in front of him protectively. The armor was wrong, but the accent…the accent lined up.

“Ba'buir?” he croaked.

“I beg your karking pardon?” the man said.
